damn. Missed work today. I don't actually feel too bad about it. since i had been going to work sick. Yesterday was a battle to stay conscious it was just damn horrible. My head spinning and shit.

But i feel bad that it's right before the holiday break. got 3 days off. 3 paid days off. and I feel bad about that. and I'm definitely not getting the attendence bonus. and i may lose that nice christmas bonus.

I'm not quite sure how I feel about this. All I know was that I needed a new pillow and some yugurt.

It was only a few seconds after I had parked at the wal-mart supercenter and started walking when a woman started calling to me. I was scared.

She was a middle-aged blond woman, redneck type. She says she's a refugee from Luisianna (flashing me those refugee badges). Debrah, she said her name was. Debrah needs a ride to her motel and asked me for that ride.

So I say, I'll call a cab for you. She responds by saying she doesn't have any money. So I say I'll give her money for it. She then thanks me and gives me a hug. I was scared and disgusted. But relieved that I don't have to give her a ride.

So we walked to the front of wal-mart, with a bit of chit chat. (Gosh it snowed! I called my mom in california to tell her about it! Don't worry, I'm good people. I won't do anything bad) At the entrance to walmat was a friend of hers. Another middle aged refugee. Apparently they were waiting for a ride. (ah, now that i think about it, I should have told her she should have just sat tight and waited for her ride.)


But after getting to the telephone booth, I relazed I didn't know the number for a cab. Ah shit. And for some reason, she wanted to give me her telephone number. (I don't know nobody. We can be good friends. I'll spoil you. I'll give you massages.)

I would like to remind readers (one or two of you) that this is a middle-aged dirty blonde hick from luisianna. I was disgusted.

So she ripped off a piece of her ciggerette carton, wrote down her name and number, and gave it to me.

Ah, fuck. I thought. Here I am, wanting to get rid of her. But too damn nice to do so. So I say, fine, I'll take her to motel 6. She's delighted.

We head to my truck and start out to the street. Then she says, Man I'm hungry. I've got no money and don't know nobody. Can you buy me groceries?

Fuck.

I said yeah, sure. She's delighted and gives me a kiss on the cheek. It's just a kiss for appreciation, she says. It's not sex, she says. I felt disgusted. So we head back to walmart. At the entrance, we meet her friend again. Her friend says the ride is coming soon. So Debrah gives her friend the keys to the motel. (again, I should have told her to wait for her ride).

Inside, I gave her a twenty and we split. She said she wanted to check something else. I said was gonna buy a pillow. And so she says we'll meet back at the truck, voicing her worries that I'll drive off without her. I spend a good amount of effort telling her I won't, That I promised I'll take her to her motel.

So I do my stuff. Bought a jumbo sized pillow and two buckets of strawberry and peach yugurt. I check out, bought a pepsi, and sat at the bench at the entranced and waited for her. 30 minutes later and meeting with a woman from work (who was damn hot. You can't tell how she looks with the hair nets and aprons and smock on. but damn.) I go to the truck to see if she's there. She wasn't. I put my stuff in the back seat and head for walmart again.

I look around for her inside walmart, couldn't find her. So I waited outside the doors for a good while. No sign of her. Went back to my truck, she wasn't there. I drove around the parking lot, no sign of her.

And so after I told her that I wouldn't drive off...I did.

I'm quite dissapointed in myself that I didn't keep my promise of taking her where she needs to go. She needed help and I was able to. But I was reluctant to help, and only did so because it was...something the kind of person I want to be would do...or something like that. Then again she could have been a phony. So I just lost 20 bucks. And didn't get dragged, raped, and killed if I indeed took her to her motel.

MGS3 is damn good. It's like Tenchu, but with guns.

Socom 3 is decent single player. Great online game. However no one ever uses team work and they do their own thing. This makes the game less tactical then it should be.

Disgaea is good. Unfortuantely 50+ hours are spend leveling up alone. Quite tedious.

Ico is great. Though I haven't played more then an hour's worth. I look forward to it.

Xenosaga is good. A dissapointment in a lot of areas. But nothing I can't get over. I enjoy it enough.

Meteos is a good puzzle game. Unfortunately fails to live up to the hype. Gets tiresome after more then 10 or so minutes of playing it.

Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow rocks my socks.
